The Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza kicks off with a FREE live concert with Macon Pops on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm. Gates to the concert open to the public at 5pm.

Entrances are located at Poplar Street and Second Street, near Kinjo Kitchen + Cocktails, First Street at Just Tap’d, and First Street at Government Center. Visitors must enter through designated entrances this year per local COVID-19 guidelines.

The concert takes place on Poplar Street in the block between First Street and Second Street in downtown Macon. The stage is set up in the intersection of Poplar Street and First Street facing southward and block of Poplar Street is closed between First and Second Streets for concert goers to enjoy the show.

COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

The Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza is committed to Macon It Safe! We will do our part to offer a safe and fun holiday experience and we ask you to help us achieve this goal. The following COVID-19 safety precautions will be observed:

• All guests are required to wear masks in the designated concert area (Poplar Street between First Street and Second Street) while enjoying the Opening Concert of the Main Street Christmas Light Extravaganza from 6pm to 8pm per local mandate.

• Guests must enter and exit the concert area through designated entrances and exits at Poplar Street and First Street. The entrances open to the public at 5pm.

• Upon exiting the designated concert area, masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged.

• Sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the concert area.

• All guests are encouraged to spread out and maintain a distance of 6ft from other guests who are not part of their party.
